Combe Cottage Restaurant and Cafe is situated at the South West end of Ilfracombe High Street, half way between Somerfield and the petrol station. We are on the lefthand side if you approach from the South on the A361 (from Barnstaple), and on the righthand side if you approach from the East on the A399 (from Combe Martin). Jeffery's newsagents with blue awnings is directly opposite.

If coming from the harbour on foot the quickest way is up Fore Street and along the High Street to the far end (about 10 minutes), although Fore Street is steep. For a route mostly on the level use St James Place and Wilder Road.

Car Parking

There are two car parks close by. One is situated on the opposite side of the road behind the petrol station. The entrance, alongside the petrol station, is narrow and not well signposted, but it is easy to find if you know where to look. The second car park is below and behind us in Wilder Road (cheaper to park but further to walk). There are limited short term parking bays along Church Road and the High Street.

Some of the streets in Ilfracombe are very steep. To help plan your route you can use a map produced as part of the Ilfracombe Access Guide to help plan your route. The best way to reach us from the harbour avoiding any steep gradients is via St James Place and Wilder Road.
